Crockpot Honey BBQ Chicken Wings

These chicken wings from Recipes that Crock, served with last week’s fried cucumbers, were a big hit among the picky eaters in my family. The honey flavor comes through pretty powerfully, and the early browning gives it the perfect texture.

Just keep in mind that most of the 3 pounds this recipe calls for is bone, so there might not be leftovers. 😉

Crockpot Honey BBQ Chicken Wings

Serves: 4

Prep Time: 40 minutes

Crockpot Time: 2 or 4 hours

3 pounds chicken wings

salt and pepper to taste

1 cup honey

¼ cup bbq sauce

¼ cup teriyaki sauce

¼ cup soy sauce

2 tablespoons oil

1 clove garlic, minced


Preheat your broiler, cover your broiler pan with aluminum foil and spray with cooking spray. Arrange your wings on your covered broiler pan and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Broil for 12-15 minutes on each side until they are golden brown.

Place your browned wings in your crock pot.

In a separate bowl, mix together the rest of your ingredients and pour over wings. Cover and cook on low for 4 hours or high for 2 hours. Serve with a side of dipping sauce.
